Karen Andujar enjoys bringing enthusiasm and fun to her classes through humor and humility. A student first, Karen encourages individuals to find balance between challenge and ease through breath and alignment. A lifelong athlete who never thought she would touch her toes, Karen is passionate about creating space and preventing injuries, while helping students meet themselves where they are. Karen’s unquenchable thirst for knowledge keeps her reading, taking workshops, learning from a variety of teachers, and practicing on her mat every day. She received her RYT200 from East Meets West in 2014 and currently studies with Elena Brower and Marni Sclaroff. In the last three years Karen has also studied with Max Strom, Shiva Rea, Seane Corn, and Rod Stryker. Karen found yoga in 2006 during a time of personal crisis and her life was forever transformed through the teachings and practices. When not in the yoga studio, Karen works as a facilitator and leadership/life coach in the federal government, where she also teaches mindfulness, meditation and emotional intelligence programs.
