Dear Namas Day,
Roses are red, violets are blue. This Valentine’s Day, we are ALL about YOU!

In celebration of Valentine’s Day, we sat down to write a love letter to our one and only. Here’s what we came up with.

1. Stepping Outside of the Status Quo

Human beings are creatures of habit. Yogis are no different. We tend to practice at the same studio, with the same teacher(s), day after day, week after week. It’s perfectly natural, but with time, our practice can start to feel stagnant. Namas Day brings a wide variety of AMAZING teachers and practices together, all in one place! Take a look at the schedule and pick and choose how you would like to spend your day!

2. cOMmunity & Connection!

It doesn’t matter if you come solo or with friends Namas Day is all about cOMmunity! Make new friends or reconnect with old ones. Meet a variety of wonderful people with a shared interest. Spend the day practicing with other teachers, volunteers, and other small business owners in the yoga, health, and wellness community. This is a perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the Philadelphia yoga community! Take it from us – there’s no better place to be!

3. The Goods

Yoga mats, jewelry, kombucha, leggings, oils and more! The Namas Day marketplace is bigger and better every year. This spring, we’re super excited to have barkTHINS sampling DELICIOUS snacking chocolate, Baba’s Brew offering kombucha flavors like Flower Power & Hibiscus, and Inner Flame cooking up kitchari! Meet teachers & check out opportunities to study and practice with Aqua Vida SUP and Moondog Yoga. Grab the latest fashions from Haven Collective. Pickup accessories from Ambena, Inc., CoolYogi, and Designs by Joanna Stanek. Swing by Yogalese to learn about how to protect yourself and your studio. And don’t miss three of our favorite Pennsylvania-based non-profits – Transformation Yoga Project, Living Beyond Breast Cancer, and Himalayan Institute.

4. The Tunes

Music adds an incredibly powerful element to your practice. From didgeridoo to turntables, we’ve had it all at Namas Day over the years. The spring, Namas Day is going to ROCK! We have Brittany Policastro kicking off the day with the Beyoncé Yoga ExperienceFaith Hunter keeps things moving with her soulful Spiritually Fly Master Class. Yoga Music Project’s Nate Spross picks it up from there with a grown & sexy set for Faith Hunter’s hip opening practice. Finally, we have the unbelievably talented Thomas Flannigan accompanying Corina Benner‘s Chakra/Yin workshop on the sitar!

5. LUNCH!

Ok…ok…we know what you’re probably thinking. This is a yoga festival, right? Who cares about lunch? We do! And you will too when you see what we have in store for you this spring! First, we have White Horse Coffee & Creamery kicking off the day with handcrafted coffee, tea, and more! For lunch, we have two DELICIOUS & NUTRITIOUS trucks coming in – PlayaBowls & Paper Mill Foods. PlayaBowls is a New Jersey-based company specializing in acai bowls, pitaya bowls, chia pudding bowls juices, and smoothies. Every bowl is handmade with the freshest, quality ingredients.
